Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to own and elevate procurement practices across policy, governance, SRM and third party risk. You will drive data-driven improvements, benchmarking, and value delivery while collaborating with the Procurement Leadership team.

The role focuses on policy development, supplier optimisation and ensuring end-to-end compliance across GNFR spend, with a hybrid working model at Bracknell Campus.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement, risk management and SRM experience.
• Demonstrable SRM and/or Third Party Risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, policy and process.
• Demonstrable experience applying CI principles and practices.
• Strong stakeholder relationship-building across diverse groups.
• Demonstrable ability to influence and shape decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Procurement function across governance, policy and SRM.
• Influence strategic direction using external benchmarking and best practices.
• Monitor internal/external trends in procurement and market dynamics.
• Lead evolution of third party risk and SRM frameworks and key initiatives.
• Support procurement capability development and knowledge management.
• Create policies, governance, controls and performance reporting for GNFR spend.
