Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Bracknell is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to own procurement excellence across policies, governance, third party risk, and SRM.

You will embed best practices, drive process improvement using data from our systems, and lead initiatives with the Procurement Leadership team to raise performance.

This hybrid, permanent role offers a salary of £60,600 to £90,800 and a 35-hour week, with pre-employment checks as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement / risk management / supplier relationship management experience.
• Demonstrable experience in Supplier relationship management and/or Third Party Risk management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, policy and process.
• Demonstrable experience of applying continuous improvement (CI) principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to develop and enhance the Procurement function and policies.
• Influence strategic direction and priorities using external benchmarking and continuous improvement.
• Develop understanding of internal and external procurement trends and market dynamics.
• Lead initiatives to evolve third party risk management and SRM frameworks.
• Support development of procurement capability and knowledge management across the function.
• Ensure policies and processes comply with governance and reporting requirements.
• Deliver procurement policy and compliance across assigned areas and support supplier optimisation.
