Job summary

Holman UK is seeking a Procurement Commercial Analyst to join the Birmingham team on a permanent basis. The role centers on data-driven procurement performance, supplier management, and contract optimisation, with a circa £50,000 salary dependent on skills and experience.

You will work with operations, finance, and suppliers to drive value and process improvements. The position requires strong Excel and Power BI capabilities, 5+ years in a vendor data environment, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or formal data analytical education preferred.
• 5 years of experience in vendor data environments.
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint).
• Excel skills: VLOOKUPs, PivotTables; Power Query intermediate; ETL concepts; data quality management.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with strategic suppliers (top 50% of spend).
• Coordinate with operations, customers, and suppliers to identify improvements.
• Maintain deep knowledge of supplier performance in a large network.
• Lead routine vendor performance review meetings.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for procurement performance and negotiations.
• Manage scorecards and contract compliance metrics with internal teams.
• Conduct remote vendor performance discussions and monitor expirations.
