Job summary

Holman in the United Kingdom is seeking a Procurement Commercial Analyst to join our Birmingham team. This permanent role pays circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience, with a focus on supplier performance and data-driven procurement improvements.

You will develop relationships with strategic suppliers, analyse data, and support contract negotiations while leveraging Excel, Power Query and Power BI for reporting. Strong numerical skills and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or formal data analytical education preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.
• Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, PivotTable; intermediate Power Query.
• Experience with ETL principles and data quality management.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data modelling and dashboards.
• Desirable: VBA macros and Python for data analysis.
• Numerate and able to interpret statistical information.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with strategic suppliers (top 50% of spend).
• Collaborate with operations, customers and suppliers to identify improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of external market conditions affecting suppliers.
• Lead routine vendor performance review meetings.
• Analyse data and prepare reports for procurement performance.
• Monitor contract terms and renegotiations; manage expirations.
