Job summary

MBDA in the UK Procurement function, Governance and Performance team, is seeking an experienced commercial, procurement or supply chain specialist to project manage the introduction of a new contracting life cycle management tool. The role focuses on stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and ensuring alignment with procurement operations. The salary is circa £45,000 depending on experience.

Hybrid working: 2-3 days on-site. BPSS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, procurement or supply chain functions.
• Understanding of commercial contract structures, legal operations, risk management and contract lifecycle.
• Ability to manage critical stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align diverse interests across functions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present concepts clearly.
• Experience creating structured training playbooks or user guides.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge would be beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to UK and non-UK sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the project manager for Procurement UK Contract Life Cycle Management tool selection and implementation.
• Develop procurement requirements to enable supplier proposals and assess submissions.
• Review and test proposed solutions to ensure alignment with procurement workflows.
• Map contracting structures to address real-world bottlenecks.
• Develop user guides and training for rollout.
• Support wider governance, compliance and change initiatives.
