Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead change activities across multiple procurement workstreams on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The role focuses on embedding new processes, engaging stakeholders and ensuring adoption of transformational initiatives in a hybrid setup with a Warwick base.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Change Management, Business Transformation or a similar change delivery role within a large and complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and best practice frameworks.
• Demonstrable professional experience delivering and managing change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Procurement Excellence initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and implement effective change management strategies and adoption plans.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, understanding their needs and managing expectations throughout the change journey.
• Identify change impacts, assessing organisational readiness and recommending appropriate interventions.
• Deliver tailored change and engagement activities aligned to programme objectives.
• Support leaders, teams and individuals through periods of transition to ensure successful adoption of change.
• Monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives, gathering feedback and implementing continuous improvements.
• Identify, manage and mitigate resistance to change.
• Develop detailed implementation plans, including timelines, risks and resource requirements.
• Work closely with communications and training leads to ensure colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and capability needed to successfully adopt change.
