Job summary

The Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a busy procurement team near Oldham, Greater Manchester. You will handle day-to-day purchasing, raise purchase orders, obtain pricing, manage supplier relationships and track deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in buying/procurement, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication. SAP experience is desirable, and CIPS qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

• CIPS qualification desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activity, including raising purchase orders, obtaining pricing and availability, managing supplier relationships and monitoring deliveries
• Support invoice queries, supplier onboarding and some import/export and freight administration
