The Recruitment Group near Oldham, Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our procurement team. This hands-on role will manage day-to-day purchasing activities and maintain strong supplier relationships.

You will raise purchase orders, check pricing and availability, monitor deliveries and support invoice queries, supplier onboarding, and assist with import/export and freight administration. A 3–5 year track record in buying is required with excellent communication.

Formación

• 3–5 years’ experience in buying, purchasing or procurement.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Experience with SAP and import/export processes would be an advantage.
• CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.

A great opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a successful and growing organisation based near Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Working as part of a busy procurement team of two, you’ll manage day-to‑day purchasing activity, including raising purchase orders, obtaining pricing and availability, managing supplier relationships and monitoring deliveries. You’ll also support invoice queries, supplier onboarding and some import/export and freight administration.

We’re ideally looking for someone with 3–5 years’ experience in buying, purchasing orprocurement, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Experience with SAP and import/export processes would be an advantage. CIPS qualification is also desirable but not essential.

This is a busy, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with suppliers and internal teams, can keep things moving in a fast-paced environment and has a willingness to learn and develop.
