Job summary

The Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a busy procurement team near Oldham, Greater Manchester. You will handle day-to-day purchasing, raise purchase orders, obtain pricing, manage supplier relationships and track deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in buying/procurement, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication. SAP experience is desirable, and CIPS qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

A great opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a successful and growing organisation based near Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Working as part of a busy procurement team of two, you'll manage day-to-day purchasing activity, including raising purchase orders, obtaining pricing and availability, managing supplier relationships and monitoring deliveries. You'll also support invoice queries, supplier onboarding and some import/export and freight administration.

We're ideally looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience in buying, purchasing or procurement, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Experience with SAP and import/export processes would be an advantage. CIPS qualification is also desirable but not essential.

This is a busy, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with suppliers and internal teams, can keep things moving in a fast-paced environment and has a willingness to learn and develop.
