Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is seeking a Procurement Assistant to join the Procurement team. You will provide first-line support to internal stakeholders and suppliers, manage PO updates, and assist with onboarding, compliance and data reporting.

The role is a fixed-term contract with hybrid working and clear progression opportunities. The role reports to the Procurement Compliance & Applications Manager and involves working 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times within a

Responsibilities

  • Produce reports, dashboards and data insights to support purchasing decisions.
  • Assist Category Managers with sourcing, tenders and procurement projects.
  • Collaborate across departments to complete procurement administration and resolve queries.
  • Support improvements to procurement processes, systems and ways of working.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Assistant. Reporting to the Procurement Compliance & Applications Manager, you’ll provide first-line support to internal stakeholders and suppliers, helping to keep our procurement processes, systems and day-to-day administration running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide first-line procurement support to internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Manage procurement inbox queries, purchase orders and system updates
  • Support supplier onboarding, compliance and risk management processes
  • Produce reports, dashboards and data insights to support purchasing decisions
  • Assist Category Managers with sourcing, tenders and procurement projects
  • Work collaboratively across departments to complete procurement administration and resolve queries
  • Support improvements to procurement processes, systems and ways of working

Please note this is a fixed-term contract from 28th September 2026 to 3rd September 2027.

You will be contracted to work 150 per 4-week period (37.5 per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

This role will be hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days home-working.

About You

Essential requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Adaptable working approach and ability to multi-task
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) English and Maths

Desirable requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience of working within a Procurement Department
  • Previous experience of using Internet based Procurement systems
