Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Experienced Procurement Agent to lead the acquisition of goods and services for fixed wing military derivative programmes, driving from conception to execution across commercial, military and global boundaries.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, coordinating with stakeholders, and optimizing the supply chain while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. UK security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain within Aerospace/Defence.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance and residency.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms for products and services.
• Engage stakeholders to align program, customer, product and in-service strategies with sourcing.
• Prepare and execute information agreements and negotiated contracts.
• Optimize supply chain execution balancing inventory, orders and demand schedules.
• Review and analyze demand and supply continuously.
• Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships for delivery, quality and stability.
• Mitigate risks and issues.
• Initiate supplier improvement activities and feed results into contracting strategies.
• Communicate performance expectations and metrics to assess supplier performance.

Experienced Procurement Agent

will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services supporting fixed wing military derivative programmes, bringing the programme from conception to execution to operate across commercial, military and global boundaries, along with completing existing programme obligations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
• Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Optimise execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
• Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
• Mitigate risks and issues.
• Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies.
• Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain role within the Aerospace/Defence industry
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to obtain a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency.

Preferred Qualifications: (nice to have)

• Experience working within an Engineering/Production environment
• Degree / MCIPS
• Experience of using SAP
• Experience supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this role.
