We currently have exciting opportunities for Process Technicians to join our waste team at Rye Meads Sewage Works - SG12 8JY.

As the successful candidate, your role will be to perform a range of front-line activities including operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure service delivery to time, cost, and quality standards. This may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation.

Due to the role's nature, travel to other sites within the surrounding area may be required.

Base Location:

Rye Meads Sewage Works - SG12 8JY.

Working Pattern:

Monday-Friday 7:30-15:36, 38 hours/week, with opportunities for call-out rotations with additional pay.

Responsibilities as a Process Technician Waste:

1. Perform scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment following company standards to enhance resilience.
2. Operate and clean plant and equipment, maintaining health and safety standards.
3. Respond to reactive jobs following plant or equipment failure.
4. Maintain site cleanliness and conduct safety/security checks.
5. Work safely, adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Self-motivated, disciplined, eager to learn, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Responsibility for quick fault response, problem understanding, and first-time resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Proactive in site improvements and effective communication.
• Willingness to undergo safety training.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Valid UK driving license is essential.
