Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to take on the important role of Process Technician at Thames Water, based at our Beckton Sewage Treatment Works.

As the successful candidate, you will be working alongside a multiskilled team who are passionate about delivering results and great service for our customers.

You will perform a range of activities, including operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure services are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. This may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation.

• Base Location: Beckton – IG11 0AD
• 38 hours Monday - Friday 07:30 -15:36

Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to improve resilience.
• Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to meet operational and safety standards.
• Responding to reactive jobs following equipment failure.
• Maintaining site cleanliness and conducting safety checks.
• Working safely and adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness to undergo safety training.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
