Job summary

Wabtec Napier Turbochargers in Lincoln is seeking a Process Support Operator to help keep turbocharger manufacture running smoothly. The role covers Stores Operations, packing turbocharger spare parts for global export, and other supporting tasks across the plant.

No formal qualifications are required, though 2 years in a warehouse or factory environment is preferred. A valid UK driving license is essential, and forklift experience is desirable; good communication and reliable timekeeping are

An exciting opportunity to job a well-established local business that designs, manufactures and tests industrial turbochargers supplied into the power generation, marine and rail traction industries.

The Process Support Operator role will undertake a wide range of duties in support of turbocharger manufacture:

• Stores Operations
• Packing Turbocharger spare parts for global export
• Other supporting tasks

Qualifications:

• No formal qualification required

Experience:

• Preferably 2 years experience in a Warehouse/factory environment

Skills:

• Full/Valid UK Driving License
• Preferably a valid counterbalance and/or reach forklift truck license
• Be self-motivated and have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Show good timekeeping and be flexible to work shift patterns
