Job summary

GM Performance Power Units in York is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to own quality across in-house manufacturing, sub-assembly and final assembly of Cadillac F1 Power Unit systems. You will define process controls, conduct CAPA, and lead APQP deliverables.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, GD&T proficiency, and experience with SPC/MSA. Occasional travel to suppliers is expected, with a startup racing environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in process or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, APQP/PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience supporting machining and additive manufacturing.
• Proven root cause analysis and CAPA experience.
• Hands-on in manufacturing and assembly environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process controls, inspection criteria, and quality standards.
• Lead APQP deliverables (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows).
• Review FAI/FAIR and CTQ documentation.
• Drive CAPA and root-cause analysis using structured methods.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.
• Support builds with torque verification, leak testing, and validation.
