Job summary

Ecolab in Llantrisant, Wales is seeking a Production Associate to join our night-shift team. You’ll contribute to resin manufacturing, follow approved procedures and ensure right-first-time batch production while working safely in a pharmaceutical-grade environment.

This role offers a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, manual handling of materials up to 25 kg, and training on lab equipment. We value reliability, clear communication, and adherence to safety standards to support high-quality products

Qualifications

• Experience working in a production environment.
• Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer competency.
• Access to own transport.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture agarose resin products following ISO9001 and pharma quality standards.
• Follow risk assessments, SOPs and batch records with defined process steps.
• Operate and monitor automated/semi-automated processes and equipment.
• Maintain PPE and site health & safety standards during production.
• Maintain housekeeping, in-process testing, and controlled environment quality.
• Identify and elevate process, safety or quality issues promptly.
• Support shift team with clear communication and handovers.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as required by Management.

Ecolab, Purolite Resins, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Production Associate - Night shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

We manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.

We are seeking a Production Associate to engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance activities.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Manufacture agarose resin products in line with ISO9001 and pharmaceutical quality standards, ensuring right-first-time batch production.
• Follow approved risk assessments, work instructions, SOPs and batch records, with no deviation from defined process steps
• Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company
• Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated processes and equipment, responding to process conditions to maintain product quality
• Work strictly within site Health & Safety standards, including safe handling of hazardous chemicals and full adherence to PPE requirements
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and in-process testing in a controlled manufacturing environment
• Identify and elevate process, safety or quality issues immediately to prevent impact on product or operations
• Support shift team performance through clear communication and structured handovers

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with lab equipment (full training provided)
• Experience working with hazardous chemicals (full training provided)
• Practical understanding of chemistry
• Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable
