Job summary

Gates in Dumfries is seeking energetic Production & Warehouse Operators to join a busy manufacturing site. You’ll work full-time on shift patterns, supporting manufacturing and warehousing of quality products under standard procedures.

Ideal candidates have good manual dexterity and numeracy, a collaborative mindset and a safety-first approach, with the ability to maintain a clean workspace and meet daily targets alongside your team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or working shifts is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong manual dexterity and numeracy skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operating equipment and processes per Standard Working Practices and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
• Keeping work areas clean and organised throughout and at the end of shifts.
• Accurately updating Hourly Production records.
• Reporting hazardous practices, equipment, or near-miss incidents.
• Meeting quality and productivity targets as part of a team.
