We’re looking for an experienced Process Manager (Paper & Waste) to ensure maximum paper machine production and high efficiency by effectively managing teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance productivity and quality by applying Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Manage plant operations to ensure optimal utilization of all resources.
  • Oversee the shut process for effective execution.
  • Review, initiate, and implement BOP standards and procedures.
  • Drive and mobilize the shift team and MDT to achieve OEE targets.
  • Investigate and prevent CSR's.
  • Ensure the correct items are in stock to mitigate production risks.
  • Set goals and appraise immediate subordinates.
  • Ensure competency of all subordinates through adequate training, assessments, and coaching.
  • Coordinate and engage the MDT, prioritizing work among all disciplines.
  • Manage risks, ensure alignment between disciplines, and complete investigations promptly.
  • Prevent reoccurrences of incidents, conduct RCA's, and manage incidental work.
  • Communicate effectively across all shifts regarding strategy, team goals, training, and daily interventions.
  • Implement necessary changes as required.
  • Hold personnel accountable through engagement and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Forecast and prepare annual budgets, control costs, and report monthly on their status.
  • Manage overtime and report accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (OHS Act, Environmental Regulations) by implementing control measures and rectifying non-conformances.
  • Maintain conformance with OHS Act 18000, ISO 9002, and ISO 14000 standards.
  • Communicate with internal/external suppliers and customers, respond to feedback, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Understand and comply with all SHEQ requirements.
  • Carry out BBS observations and take corrective actions regarding SHEQ conditions and hazards.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workplace.
  • Drive sustainability targets, including fiber loss, energy, and water usage.
Qualifications:
  • BSc Degree, BTech, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience advantageous.
  • 5-8 years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • 3 years’ experience in a paper mill production environment is preferred.
