Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to join our Dry Processing team in Cornwall. You will support multiple operations, analyze data, and drive improvements to plant performance, energy use, and product quality.

You will work closely with operators, engineers and production teams to identify opportunities, test solutions and implement changes that enhance safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, processing, industrial or technical environments.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and support decision making.
• Experience using spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Help optimise drying processes, product quality and production performance.
• Use data to identify trends, investigate issues and recommend solutions.
