Job summary

Imerys in St Austell, Cornwall, seeks a Process Engineering Technician to join our Dry Processing team. You will drive process improvements, analyse data, and work closely with operators, engineers and production teams across Cornwall.

Qualifications

• Experience within manufacturing, production, processing, industrial or technical environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and use findings to support decision making.
• Experience using Six Sigma, DMAIC or structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Legally allowed to drive in the UK and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Assist with new product and process trials; support introduction of new materials.
• Collect, analyse and interpret trial data; provide recommendations based on evidence.
• Promote health, safety and compliance; maintain accurate records and improvement documentation.
