Job summary

Transport for London seeks a Plant Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of plant and assets across the network. You will work within Central Engineering, Transport System Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering to manage existing assets and enable new engineering solutions.

You will apply TfL engineering standards and risk management practices, with emphasis on asset information, data analysis, and digital processes to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience applying TfL engineering standards.
• Experience with track plant or railway engineering standards.
• Familiar with risk management methodologies in machinery and projects.
• Knowledge of health and safety related to machinery and work equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain TfL's Plant Database ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Support planning, performance reporting, and asset data analysis.
• Assist with plant approval programmes and digital solutions in asset information management.
