Job summary

The role focuses on improving processes, enabling better performance and cost savings through smarter methods, line balancing, and capability building across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to coach others and support teamwork.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and Quality management systems (basic knowledge acceptable).
• Engineering degree or equivalent background supporting structured problem solving.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, using data and collaboration to deliver outcomes.
• Experience with improvement tools or desire to develop these skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement using proven tools to deliver performance gains.
• Optimise tools and methods to minimise cycle time while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to boost efficiency across the department.
• Contribute to TPM, HOSHIN, SMED and QRCI workstreams and implement meaningful change.
• Use analysis to improve stock layout and transfer methods between shop locations.
• Provide line balancing data and support standard operations and technical training.
