Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Process Engineer for Aerospace/Power & Energy near Redditch. You will join the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams, focusing on creating new methods of manufacture and writing SOPs and data cards for new product introductions.

The role involves working with processes like EDM machining, multi-axis laser, welding or metal forming, with a Monday-Thursday 39-hour week. A bonus scheme and pension options are included.

Have you got previous experience writing data cards and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with a high precision manufacturing environment?

Are you familiar with any of the following processes such as Machining, EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses?

If so, then please read on.

The basics:

• Job Title: Process Engineer - Aerospace/Power & Energy
• Environment: Manufacturing
• Location: near Redditch
• Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Process Engineer to join the team. You will be part of the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams with a key focus around creating new methods of manufacture, writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new product introduction and data cards.

The ideal candidate / Process Engineer

may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working with any of the following processes - EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses.
• Previously worked as a manufacturing engineer, process engineer, methods engineer, Technical author with a competency to write and define the manufacturing steps and create the technical process data cards

Commutable from:

Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
