Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer for an Aerospace/Power & Energy manufacturing environment near Redditch. The role focuses on quality assurance in NPI projects and close collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager.

The ideal candidate has experience with precision processes (EDM, laser, welding) and a quality-focused mindset within tight tolerance engineering. Commutable from Redditch and surrounding areas; diverse, inclusive culture and flexibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with EDM Machining, multi-axis laser, welding or hydraulic forming processes.
• Experience in quality-focused roles within tight tolerance engineering environments.
• Knowledge of NPI and Aerospace sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager on NPI projects and Aerospace initiatives.
• Uphold quality standards and support process improvements.

Job Title: Quality Engineer - Aerospace/Power & Energy
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: near Redditch
Pay: £50,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week

Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Quality Engineer to join the team. You will be working closely with the Manufacturing Manager tailored towards NPI and Aerospace.
The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working with any of the following processes - EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses.
• Previously worked in a quality focused role within a tight tolerance engineering environment

Commutable from:
Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
