Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Process Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex industrial treatment and process projects across the project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning and optimisation. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop cost-effective process solutions for industrial and infrastructure clients.

• At least 2 years' experience in Water, Municipal, Wastewater or Water Process industry.
• Strong understanding of process design principles and engineering best practice.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with the ability to deliver quality work to challenging deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs and select appropriate treatment technologies for project applications.
• Produce and review technical documentation including P&IDs, process philosophies and design calculations.
• Support bid, proposal and tender activities with technical expertise and client presentations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, project delivery and commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Assist with plant optimisation, troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Contribute to value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and performance.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments and technical decision-making processes.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and tendering stages through to detailed design, commissioning support and operational optimisation.
