Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Process Engineer to support design and delivery of complex industrial treatment and process projects. You will be involved from concept and tendering to detailed design, commissioning support and operational optimisation.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative and cost-effective process solutions for a range of industrial and infrastructure clients, with excellent benefits and a car allowance in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in Water, Municipal, Wastewater, or Water Process industry.
• Strong understanding of process design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs and select appropriate treatment technologies for project applications.
• Produce and review P&IDs, process philosophies and design calculations.
• Support bid, proposal and tender activities with technical expertise and client presentations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, project delivery and commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Assist with plant optimisation, troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Contribute to value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and performance.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments and technical decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

About You
