Job summary

CRA Consulting is recruiting a Probate Solicitor/Fee Earner for a hybrid role across Bristol, Sheffield, Stratford Upon-Avon or Manchester. You will manage a varied probate caseload from start to finish, supported by a modern case management system and AI-enabled processes to drive efficiency.

This full-time, permanent role offers £40,000–£65,000 plus bonus, a generous pension, 28 days holiday (increasing with service), wellbeing benefits and study leave.

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor or legal executive (CILEX or STEP) in private practice, probate experience preferred.
Approximately 3PQE+ with ability to manage a varied probate caseload.
Client-focused with initiative and ability to work remotely as part of a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

Manage your own probate caseload from start to finish with support from a case management system and AI tools.
Use the case management system to record information accurately and consistently.
Engage with clients primarily by telephone and email to progress files.
Collaborate with expert support from the team and provide administrative assistance as needed.
Use your probate knowledge to mentor junior colleagues in the team.
