We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service, identify opportunities through data insights, and implement contact strategies to strengthen customer relationships and meet sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for smaller turnover customers, focusing on maximizing pattern book placements in the marketplace to engage trade customers with infrequent visits from our sales team.
- Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote collections and sampling.
- Understand customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
- Secure future business through excellent service and support.
- Create and execute a customer contact strategy using all available tools.
- Provide world-class customer service to maximize sales opportunities.
- Record customer feedback and actions in CRM.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure order and sample request accuracy.
- Follow up on calls and emails.
- Analyze performance data to inform sales calls.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and monitor performance with management.
- Complete administrative tasks related to the role.
- Achieve personal sales targets as part of the team.
- Employ effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to strengthen business relationships.

- Achieving sales budgets and year-on-year growth.
- Adhering to expenditure budgets.
- Maintaining call and email activity levels.
- Meeting sales targets according to the budget plan.
Connecting with Others:
- Work with sales colleagues for performance optimization.
- Manage relationships and develop business with customers.
- Coordinate with Customer Service for service quality feedback.
- Analyze customer performance with Finance.
- Share insights and drive performance with senior management.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in call centers or mail-order catalogues.
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
- Product knowledge and experience in building long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, positive attitude.
- Proficiency in CRM and WG360.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
