Job summary

Jotun Paints (Europe) Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Flixborough to ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures and maintenance standards. You will manage maintenance across assets, use the IFS/CMMS system, and collaborate with safety, operations and R&D teams to optimise energy usage and sustainability.

The role requires NVQ3 in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent) and experience with CMMS (SAP/IFS).

Qualifications

Apprentice trained maintenance technician with NVQ3 Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
HNC/HND in an engineering discipline preferred.
Experienced and trained in the use of a CMMS (preferably SAP/IFS).
Computer literate with good electrical maintenance knowledge.
Proactive attitude and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Oversee and work closely with specific maintenance contractors (electrical and mechanical).
Develop and execute PM tasks and procedures in line with HSEQ elements and maintenance guidelines.
Utilise the CMMS to record work, log fault reports and develop new procedures.
Drive root cause analysis for recurring issues in area of responsibility.
Develop risk assessments; undertake planned maintenance and book spare parts.
Stakeholder communication with local safety team, operations, R&D and contractors.
Undertake other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
