Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field, or equivalent with at least 2 years laboratory experience.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent required; MLT (ASCP) certification within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing on specimens.
• Ensure accurate, reliable results through strict quality control protocols.
• Conduct instrument function checks and preventative maintenance per standards.
• Maintain required records and statistics in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in training new employees and students on lab procedures.
• Collect chain-of-custody urine drug screens as required.
• Work with minimal supervision maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
