Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for Point of Care testing across all campus locations. The role covers day-to-day supervision of staff, lab testing, and workflow coordination. The supervisor ensures results align with CAP and CLIA standards and participates in quality assurance.

The position requires leadership experience, a CLS/MLS certification, and strong communication with lab leadership. Travel between affiliated locations may be required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited college/university with a major in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biological Science or chemistry, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of staff and laboratory testing/workflow.
• Coordinate communication of issues to lab management and operations leadership.
• Provide advanced technical support and participate in quality assurance management.
