Job summary

Kendal Crosslands Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our on-site, part-time team in the Kendal area. The role focuses on providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, bathing, feeding, transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living, while contributing to care planning and maintaining residents' dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have PA-approved Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Ability to assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulation, ROM, and other resident care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, transfers, and mobility tasks.
• Participate in care planning and communicate observations to the care team.
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity with warmth and respect.

Our staff provides quality personalized care in a team environment. Contribute to the care planning process by providing specific information and observations of the resident's needs and preferences. Attend to residents' individual needs, which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individuals' care requirements. Maintain each resident's comfort, privacy, and dignity in delivering services interacting with warmth to promote a caring environment. A High School Diploma /GED and successfully completing a PA-approved Nursing Assistant Certification are required. From time to time, we also offer free CNA training and of course ongoing tuition assistance for those individuals interested in beginning their health care career.
