Job summary

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is actively seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support seniors in Chadds Ford, Aston, Media, PA and nearby areas. This role requires CNAs, HHAs, or Direct Care staff certifications and offers consistent assignments with the potential for weekend and special-shift pay.

Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and coordinating with family and staff.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's care experience is a plus.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free.
• Assist with meal preparation, groceries, and errands.
• Perform personal care, including bathing and grooming.
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones.
• Maintain communication between seniors, family, co-workers, and office staff.

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is currently searching for a Caregiver with ** Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Staff certifications ** to work in Chadds Ford, Aston, Media,PA and nearby areas

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
• New Caregiver hire cash bonus of $250 will be paid after 2months from the date of hiring, if the person works 100 hours within 2 months

Caregiver Requirements:

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
• At least 1 yearof hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
