Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Glasgow Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support ADLs, monitor vitals, and help maintain a compassionate, clinical environment aligned with facility policies.

Roles include bed changes, hygiene, mobility support, and effective communication with the care team. The position offers 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• CNA certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff guidance.
• Customer service oriented with ability to handle pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to engage with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plans.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Support resident rights and maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
