Job summary

Seven Investment Management in the UK seeks a Training & Competence Manager to deliver and manage the T&C framework, ensuring advisers and client-facing colleagues evidence knowledge, skills and behaviours to perform effectively in regulated environments.

You will run assessments, maintain records, provide feedback, and work with Private Wealth to embed consistent standards across advice, competence and professional development while supporting FCA Certification and ongoing competence

Qualifications

• Up-to-date awareness of regulatory and internal procedure requirements for those providing investment advice.
• Understanding of suitability requirements and proper documentation of processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the investment management industry and markets.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day delivery of the Training & Competence framework, ensuring activity is practical and aligned to business needs.
• Design, deliver and manage practical training for Advisers and colleagues in regulated roles.
• Carry out competence assessments, including live/recorded observations and knowledge testing.
• Maintain accurate T&C records and provide MI to managers for risk assessment.
• Support FCA Certification processes and demonstrate evidence for sign-off.
