Job summary

Norwich Living Wage City Action Group is seeking a PSH and HMO Enforcement Officer to strengthen housing standards across the private rented sector in Norwich. You will investigate housing and public health concerns, carry out HHSRS inspections, and take enforcement actions to secure compliance.

You will advise tenants, landlords and businesses, supporting safe, healthy homes. In this varied role you will manage a diverse caseload, contribute to service improvement, and work with internal teams

Qualifications

• Strong communication with tenants, landlords and partners.
• Experience in applying housing health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve housing and public health complaints.
• Carry out HHSRS inspections to identify hazards and improvements.
• Take enforcement action and prepare notices to secure compliance.
• Prepare evidence for legal proceedings and present findings.
