Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Private School Cook in Dunblane, Perthshire, to join a prestigious school catering team. You will prepare nutritious meals for pupils and staff, ensuring high standards of food safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction in a busy educational setting.

Working with the Head Chef, you will help manage stock, follow recipes, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience while supporting training and development opportunities within a committed team.

Qualifications

• A relevant culinary qualification or relevant experience.
• Previous kitchen experience.
• Food safety certification (or willingness to complete via our e-learning).
• Effective communication and a team-first attitude.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Private School Cook to join our team in Dunblane
Juniors, Perthshire, FK15 0JY. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and reliable
cook to work within a prestigious school environment, delivering high-quality meals to
students, staff and visitors. Working as part of a dedicated catering team, you will play a key
role in ensuring excellent food quality, presentation and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
As a Private School Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-
quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer
service. You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen and contribute to a
positive dining experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working alongside the Head Chef to deliver high-quality meals with minimal waste
• Maintaining food levels and brand standards across all services
• Preparing delicious dishes for pupils and staff, following menu recipe cards
• Supporting with kitchen checklists and post-service analysis
• Following kitchen procedures and hygiene standards
• Taking part in ongoing training and development.
• Taking deliveries.

Additional Information

Have the legal right to work in the UK.

Be able to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) clearance via Disclosure Scotland
