Job summary

Town & Country Housing is seeking a lettings coordinator to advertise and market properties, arrange viewings and support customers through the lettings process across Kent, Sussex and Surrey. You will manage tenancy administration, including tenancy agreements, inventories and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to travel and work flexibly in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within the private rental, lettings or estate agency sector.
  • Strong understanding of tenancy management and the wider housing environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive and customer-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Good knowledge of housing and lettings legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Advertise and market available properties, arrange viewings and support customers through the lettings process.
  • Manage tenancy administration, including tenancy agreements, inventories and related documentation.
  • Monitor rent accounts, manage arrears cases and take appropriate action where required.
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate void works with contractors and maintenance providers.
  • Liaise with tenants, letting agents, solicitors, utility providers and other external partners to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Support customer service improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth and development of the service.
  • Monitor performance, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.

This is a full time position working 35 hours a week, covering Kent, Sussex & Surrey.
