Our Client

Our client, a premium US law firm, is building out its Private Equity practice in London and is looking to hire a talented associate to join the team. The firm advises leading private equity houses, portfolio companies, and management teams on complex, high-value transactions across sectors.

The Role

You will work on a wide range of private equity transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, co-investments, and portfolio company matters. The role offers early responsibility, extensive client contact, and the chance to collaborate across offices on cross-border matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key deal team member on private equity transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
• Advising clients on deal structuring and execution.
• Leading on workstreams and managing junior support.
• Engaging in client development initiatives and industry networking.

Requirements

• England & Wales qualified with 2+ years’ PQE from a top-tier UK or international corporate practice.
• Experience advising private equity clients on transactions, ideally including deal structuring and execution.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
