Job summary

Mitsu, a high-energy izakaya and events venue in Shoreditch, part of Aethos, is seeking an experienced events and sales professional. You will own private dining enquiries, convert leads into bookings and maximise revenue across food, beverages and experiences.

Join a culture-led team in a dynamic environment, managing end-to-end event sales, proposal creation and client liaison, with evenings and weekends required as part of a busy events calendar.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in restaurant, bar, hotel or venue sales or events (London preferred).
• Able to upsell with confidence and warmth.
• Proficient written proposals and emails.
• Organised, fast and detail-driven with a busy diary.
• CRM or event booking systems experience; spreadsheets.
• UK work legal right.

Responsibilities

• Own enquiries from first contact to booking for private dining, group 10+ guests, exclusive hire and festive events.
• Host show rounds and tastings to sell the Mitsu experience, not just the room.
• Prepare tailored proposals, contracts and invoices, securing deposits per terms and conditions.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate, agency and social business.
• Drive festive season sales and rebooking plans with Marketing support.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and provide weekly pipeline and forecast updates.
