Job summary

Capital Tax Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Trust Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a growing tax team in Leeds. You will manage a varied portfolio, own complex compliance matters and build lasting client relationships within a supportive, career-focused environment.

The role covers trust and estate tax compliance, including Trust Registration and IHT returns, plus advisory work such as real-time reporting and remuneration planning.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Trust and Estate Tax Compliance.
• Experience with Trust Registration and IHT Returns.
• Ability to manage client portfolios.
• Ability to undertake independent technical research.
• Experience with estate administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trust and estate tax compliance, including Trust Registration and IHT returns.
• Support private client advisory work such as CGT calculations and remuneration planning.
• Review junior team members' work and develop talent.
• Identify additional client opportunities and contribute to process improvements.
• Conduct independent technical research to support complex matters.
