Capital Tax Recruitment seeks an experienced Private Client Tax professional to join its Leeds-based advisory team, taking a senior role in delivering bespoke tax solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families and entrepreneurial clients.

The role combines technical advisory work, senior client exposure, leadership and business development, with ownership of complex assignments, trusted client relationships and shaping the growth of the team.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/CA/ATT/STEP or equivalent.
• Strong experience in private client tax advisory.
• Track record of managing complex assignments and multiple projects.
• Experience in leading and developing people.
• Excellent technical, commercial and communication skills.
• Ability to operate at senior client level and support BD.
• Exposure to international private client matters advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of complex private client advisory assignments.
• Provide commercially focused tax advice and practical solutions.
• Build relationships with high-value private clients and advisers.
• Oversee complex personal tax compliance and advisory matters.
• Collaborate with specialists across tax and finance.
• Manage, coach and develop junior professionals.
• Support identification and conversion of new business opportunities.
• Contribute to growth, strategy and direction of the team.
