Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Manager, you will be part of the private client tax team working on tax advisory and tax compliance services for a diverse range of clients. You will manage your own portfolio and assist colleagues.

Due to recent growth, we are seeking candidates based in Manchester, Leeds, or Harrogate, with a requirement to be in the office three times a week for collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing tax returns, managing HMRC enquiries, ensuring compliance, monitoring deadlines, and managing client portfolios.
• Contributing to planning and advisory projects, supporting partners, and maintaining technical knowledge.
• Training and developing Trainees and Seniors, and supporting team members with chargeable and non-chargeable work.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures and meeting client deadlines.

Qualifications

To succeed, you should have:

• Significant private client tax experience within professional services or industry.
• Technical expertise in complex client work.
• Experience managing people.
• Interest in developing business development skills.
• Strong IT skills.

Professional Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications (CTA and/or ACA).

Key Competencies

• Ability to prioritize workloads, delegate, and control work.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
