Job summary

AAB is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence in the UK. We are seeking a Private Client Compliance Tax Manager/Senior Manager with trust experience to lead a portfolio of high‑quality clients from our Leeds office.

In this role you will supervise junior staff, manage WIP and billing, and develop opportunities across trust and estate tax. You will be a technical expert, delivering compliant tax solutions with a client‑focussed approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified tax professional with CA/ATT/CTA/STEP or similar.
• 2–3+ years post-qualification tax compliance experience.
• Experience with Trust and Estate Tax Compliance and IHT returns.
• Ability to research technical tax issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage own client portfolio and act as main contact for clients.
• Ensure timely MTD quarterly reporting, Final Declarations and SA returns.
• Follow tax compliance processes and use technology to improve efficiency.
• Manage WIP, proposals, fees and uplift for additional work.
• Mentor junior team members and support career progression.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within client portfolio.
