Qualifications

• Private client tax experience within an accountancy practice, tax advisory firm, or professional services environment.
• Hands-on experience across trusts, estates, IHT and TRS compliance.
• Ability to manage a client portfolio and mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client portfolio, acting as main day-to-day contact.
• Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns for private clients.
• Handle trust and estate compliance, including TRS and IHT.
• Support with CGT calculations and real-time reporting where required.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and monitor deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for advisory work and process improvements.
