Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Private Client Tax Manager for a Birmingham-based accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will hold ACA or ACCA with extensive personal tax experience in a UK practice, and CTA is a plus.

• Qualified ACA/ACCA and/or CTA with extensive personal tax experience in UK practice.
• Ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions for high-net-worth clients.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients with oversight on computations and advisory work.
• Provide robust tax reporting and guidance to clients.
• Lead and develop the team, conducting reviews and providing feedback.
• Drive efficiency, oversee WIP and billing, and ensure quality files.
• Identify advisory opportunities and represent the firm at events.
• Collaborate with other teams on best practices and technology projects.
