Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is partnering with a leading Leeds-based Chartered Accountants firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Tax Director who will own a diverse portfolio of high net worth individuals, trusts and business owners, providing technical excellence alongside commercially astute advice.

You will mentor junior members, develop the private client tax offering, and build strong relationships with clients and introducers.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified, with significant private client tax experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation relevant to private clients.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client tax matters, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates
• Provide strategic tax planning advice, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and succession planning
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior members of the private client tax team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and professional connections
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the firm's private client tax service line
