Job summary

Eventus Legal in Leyland, Lancashire, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a small, friendly team handling wills, LPAs and probate work. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with most time in the office and one day at home, a supportive environment and flexible hours.

You will manage wills, LPAs and estates, assist with trusts, and progress through the firm with opportunity to develop to director level for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with private client experience in wills, LPAs and estates.
• Able to sign off Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Well-organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Patient and warm with clients, including elderly.

Responsibilities

• Advising on wills, taking instructions and drafting wills.
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and signing them off as the solicitor.
• Managing the administration of estates from instruction through to distribution.
• Assisting on trust matters for the firm's private client clients.
• Meeting clients in the office or on home visits by arrangement.
• Working closely with the head of private client and the department's secretaries.
