Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our legal team, focusing on family law, private client matters and property law with emphasis on client care and legal expertise. You will manage a varied private client caseload, support the development of the team and contribute to performance and growth.

This role is primarily office-based with some flexibility for home working, offering a salary between £40,000 and £60,000 and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 5 years PQE in private client law is highly preferable.
• STEP qualification or membership preferred.
• Client-focused and practical approach to work.
• Proven ability to manage a private client caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload covering Wills, probate and Powers of Attorney, with Court of Protection and deputyship matters where appropriate.
• Advising clients on a range of private client matters, including services for older clients.
• Maintaining accurate and efficient case files in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Working towards agreed fee-earning and time-recording targets.
• Developing client relationships and contributing to business development and marketing activities.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including supporting another solicitor in developing their expertise in more complex trusts, probate and estate administration matters.
• Maintaining the department's WIQS accreditation.

An opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a law firm specialising in family law, private client matters and property law, with a focus on legal expertise and client care.

As aPrivate Client Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will manage a varied private client caseload, support the development of the team and contribute to the department's performance and growth.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing your own caseload covering Wills, probate and Powers of Attorney, with Court of Protection and deputyship matters where appropriate.

What we are looking for

• A strong track record of independently managing a private client caseload covering the full range of relevant matters.
