Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking an experienced solicitor or chartered legal executive to join the private client team in the UK. You will manage wills, probate, estate administration, powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts, while supervising junior colleagues and guiding the team.

Around 5 years of PQE is expected, with flexibility. STEP qualification is useful but not essential, and the firm offers a supportive environment with a competitive salary in line with experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive.
• Approximately 5 years PQE, with some flexibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, IHT and trusts.
• Experience supervising others.
• STEP is useful but not essential.

A well established regional law firm acting for businesses and private clients across a wide range of legal work.

The role

You will join a busy and growing private client team handling a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts. Alongside your own files you will supervise junior colleagues, give technical guidance to the team and help keep work compliant.

What you will need

Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive.

Around 5 years PQE, with some flexibility.

Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, IHT and trusts.

Experience supervising others.

STEP is useful but not essential.
